Braised Pork and Tofu with Universal Braising Sauce (Rice Cooker Recipe)

Today I'm sharing a super simple and delicious braised snack, using a one-pot universal braising sauce.
Materials:
150g pork belly, 150g tofu, 200g quail eggs.
Seasonings:
Peppercorns, cardamom, bay leaf, star anise, tangerine peel, fennel seeds, dried chili peppers, 1 spoonful of (liao jiu -), 3 spoonfuls of (lao chou -), 3 spoonfuls of (sheng chou -), salt, 1 spoonful of (bai tang -), a little green onion and ginger.
Instructions:
Cut the pork belly into thick slices.
Cut the tofu into thick slices as well.
Heat a flat pan without oil, and sear the pork belly until golden brown.
Use the oil from searing the pork belly to sear the tofu until golden brown.
Boil the quail eggs.
Peel and set aside.
Put all the ingredients into an electric rice cooker.
Add peppercorns, cardamom, bay leaf, star anise, tangerine peel, fennel seeds, dried chili peppers.
1 spoonful of (liao jiu -), 3 spoonfuls of (lao chou -), 3 spoonfuls of (sheng chou -), add salt, 1 spoonful of (bai tang -), and add water passed through the ingredients.
Add green onion and ginger.
Set the rice cooker to 2 cook settings.
The whole room fills with fragrance, super delicious!
Tips:
1, Sear the pork belly until golden brown and crispy, the braised meat won't be greasy.
2, Sear both sides of the tofu until golden brown, it won't fall apart during braising.
3, Adjust the time according to the power of your electric rice cooker.
