Every year during the New Year, my mother would steam the sweet potatoes and make sweet potato meatballs with glutinous rice flour. When I was a child, things weren't much, and an apple was a rare treasure. The few of us children had to share them, so the sweet potato meatballs were very delicious to us back then.

Mom would always make a lot of sweet potato meatballs, and after making the meatballs, she would call us to eat, letting us eat to our fill. If we didn't finish eating, we would steam the leftovers to eat. Today, I'm just revisiting the taste of my mother's old days.
Ingredients
Sweet potatoes 3, glutinous rice flour 300g, bread crumbs as needed.
Seasonings
Sugar as needed, edible oil as needed.
Instructions

Step 1: Wash the sweet potatoes, peel them, and then cut them into pieces, trying to cut them thinly to make the sweet potatoes steam quickly. After cutting, put them all into a steamer, and steam them over the pot for 30 minutes until the sweet potatoes are cooked through.

Step 2: After the sweet potatoes are steamed, take them out and pour them into a basin. Add an appropriate amount of sugar, and the amount of sugar can be adjusted according to your preference. Then use a rolling pin to mash it into a puree without any sweet potato granules.

Step 3: Pour in 300g of glutinous rice flour, and use your hands to knead it into a dough. Knead until the dough is the last, if the dough is too wet, add glutinous rice flour, if it's too dry, add a little water.

Step 4: Wet your hands with some water, take out a small ball of glutinous rice dough, and knead it into a circle, the size can be according to your own preference, making the smaller ones is easier to fry.
Step 5: Pour an appropriate amount of bread crumbs into the plate, wrap the kneaded meatballs with bread crumbs, the meatballs wrapped in bread crumbs will be more fragrant and more delicious, or you can not wrap bread crumbs.

Step 6: After all the meatballs are finished, put them in a plate and reserve.

Step 8: Start the pot, heat the oil, and put the sweet potato meatballs into the oil. Use a chopstick to constantly stir the meatballs, and use a small fire, prevent the meatballs from sticking when frying.

Step 9: Fry the sweet potato meatballs until they are golden and crispy, when they float up, it means they are cooked, take them out and drain off the oil, put them in a plate.
Sweet potato meatballs are finished, they are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, sweet and delicious. If children like sweet desserts, make sweet potato meatballs for them to eat, which is nutritious and saves money. Just let it cool down before enjoying the food.
