Insights on a White Blogger's Culinary Self-Media
Ten days have passed, our company was originally a unmanned grain store, and our WeChat fan base has several thousand people. Our users are community housewives. We have always wanted to find ways to create high stickiness interactions within our fans, so we have discussed this with the team for a long time, but we finally decided to create a self-media theme around community residents' interactions, namely presenting the hand-made dishes of elderly aunts and uncles through short videos. After all, these snow-white and gray elderly people and the young and strong middle-aged people who care for children spend most of their time around family and children. We also got confirmation and a positive response from many homeowners, which strengthened our determination to create the 'Family Food' column. There are so many different provinces and different dietary habits of people gathered in a city, which forms colorful urban colors. We need to find those quiet, harmonious, and happy voices and images within these people. This is the idea and purpose of 'Rice Spoon Shrimp' WeChat channel.
We have uploaded 3 videos so far, and the fan attention gained is shocking. From the novice 'Little White' who didn't know anything, to constantly watching the rules and other self-media video learning, I realized that the background creation platforms like DaYu Hao and TouXiao Hao, from being unable to unify names on various platforms, to finally confirming the name 'Rice Spoon Shrimp' (Rice Spoon Giant) after struggling for several days, from publishing to various platforms to three videos later, selecting key points is also in the process of exploration.
The first video theme we filmed was the red braised beef made by the mother of triplets. Due to the many things we lacked, such as lighting, script, handheld tripod, and shooting experience, it couldn't be edited. It was a great regret. But we will definitely go and collaborate with the triplet mom to shoot a fantastic cooking show to present to our audience in a while.
The second video was a video of a 9-year-old boy helping his mother cook. Because of our experience, all the materials were passed back and forth through WeChat, resulting in serious distortion of the frame ratio after compression. When we uploaded it, we discovered this problem. So in the third video, we directly copied U-disk to ensure the clarity of the footage.
This is the summary of what we have captured in ten days. Regarding what the competitors said about increasing search volume with titles and making cover designs, we are also learning slowly. Let's grow together with other self-media newbies!
