Hi everyone, welcome to Xiao Yuan's Kitchen! Today I'm sharing 'Fancy Buns – No Pushing and Folding, Easy to Understand, Beautiful!' If you want to eat fancy buns, don't buy them, I'll teach you how to quickly make buns at home – fluffy, soft, delicious, and beautiful, saving you a lot of effort!
Today I'm bringing you another dish of noodles! Why another one? Haha~, you can see from my homepage – I've been full of noodles lately! It's because my family has so many elderly people who all love noodles. With noodles, half a pot of rice is definitely left over.
I used a little trick to make a pattern,No pushing and folding, and no rolling pin needed – easy to understand and beautiful! It uses a one-time fermentation method, which is extra convenient. The texture is fluffy and soft, and it's delicious!Let's take a look at the recipe below,

–Fancy Buns–
Ingredients: 300g of plain flour, 165ml of warm water, 30g of white sugar, 4g of yeast, about ten pieces of candied violets for decoration.
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare a large bowl, pour in warm water, white sugar, and yeast, mix them evenly, and let them sit for a few minutes to dissolve the yeast and sugar. Make sure the yeast and sugar are fully dissolved to prevent uneven kneading later, which can affect the fermentation of the dough,Step 2: After the yeast and sugar are dissolved, pour in the flour. Don't knead immediately, as your hands will get sticky. First, mix it with a chopstick to form a flour slurry, then knead it with your hands to form a dough with a soft and moderate hardness. The absorption of water by the flour is different, so adjust 20g of flour as needed,Step 3: Today's fancy buns use a one-time fermentation. After kneading the dough, cover it with a lid and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Step 4: Take a small piece and knead it for about 30 times to eliminate the air bubbles inside the dough, then one by one, roll it into a ball. Make sure to knead it thoroughly, which will make the finished product particularly delicate and smooth.

Step 5: Take a piece of dough and roll it into a length of about 20cm. Arrange it into an 'n' shape, then press the middle part upwards, hold two hands to turn the two ends into two circles, then pinch them together, and continue to wrap the two ends to the front, tighten them, and then make a heart shape.

Step 6: Put all the finished dough into the steamer, let it rise to twice its size. When the dough is fully risen, it will obviously become bigger and feel light in your hand, with no weight,Step 7: Turn on the fire, start timing after the steam is boiling. Steam for 13 minutes. Don't open the lid immediately after steaming is finished, let it sit for 2-3 minutes to prevent the bun from shrinking suddenly due to the cold air,A few words of advice:

1. The buns are made with a slightly sweet flavor. If you like a sweeter taste, you can add 20g of white sugar.
2. The dough should be rested and deflated before making it. This will make the finished product inside delicate and the outside particularly smooth.

3. You can also replace the candied violets with dried cranberries or other dried fruits for decoration.
