My dad watched TV anded that eating apples can prevent colds. He quickly bought some apples when buying groceries. After eating a few, I felt tired and remembered making apple chips from my past experiences. Making apple chips is also a good way to consume a large number of apples!

Although it's a high-calorie snack, it's irresistible because it's delicious. Sweet shredded coconut, crispy starch exterior, and sweet and sour apples inside – adults and children all love it. Plus, the recipe is really quick and easy to make; it makes the kids next door drool!

With just a few steps, you can get crispy apple chips, and even novices won't fail. Seeing the family quickly finish all the apple chips on the table is more satisfying than any compliment! Many people make apple chips by coating them with breadcrumbs; if you like a sweeter flavor, you can coat them with shredded coconut like me. Choose apples that are crispy and sweet and juicy for the best flavor. Let's try it!

Materials: Cooking oil, eggs, fresh apples, cornstarch, shredded coconut (or breadcrumbs), absorbent paper

First step:

Cut the apples into 1-2cm thick slices. Cutting from the waist in this way will get you a five-pointed star, then remove the core (you can use a bottle cap to remove the core; the apple slices fried will look like donuts!). Don't cut the apple slices too thick!

Second step:

Coat the whole apple slice with a layer of cornstarch, shake off the excess cornstarch from the surface gently after coating!

Third step:

Dip it in egg liquid, make sure the egg liquid completely covers the cornstarch!

Fourth step:

Coat it with a thin layer of shredded coconut, it looks like small snowflakes. If you don't like shredded coconut, you can replace it with breadcrumbs, the texture will be crispier.

Fifth step:

Prepare all the apple slices according to this method and start frying them in the pan.

Sixth step:

The oil level should be about the height of one piece of apple. Prepare one piece at a time. During frying, flip the apple slices from time to time until they are golden brown on both sides.

Seventh step:

When you hear the sound of sizzling in the pan, take out the apple slices and drain the oil on absorbent paper! The freshly fried apple chips are a little soft, quickly transfer them to a plate while they're hot, otherwise they will become crispy and difficult to pick up when they cool down.

Eighth step:

Sprinkle shredded coconut to decorate, the outer layer is sweet shredded coconut, and the inner layer is the sweet and sour flavor of the apple, the texture is rich, when it's freshly fried, don't eat it immediately, let it cool slightly, the best texture is when it's cool~
