Baking Beginner's Special! Moist Cranberry Cookies – They'll Crumble with Every Bite
Every time I pass by a bakery, I can't resist going in to buy some small cookies. The rich milky fragrance is really tempting! Today I made cranberry cookies, the finished product is delicious, and families with babies can also give them to babies to satisfy their cravings and fill their stomachs~
Let's take a look at the recipe. It's quite simple for beginners. You don't need to cream the butter and sugar. If you like matcha flavor, you can add some matcha powder yourself, and the taste is also good!
Ingredients
90g Butter, 18g Egg Yolk, 60g Powdered Sugar, 20g Milk Powder, 125g Low-gluten Flour, 50g Dried Cranberries
Instructions
1. Take out the butter and let it soften at room temperature until you can poke a small hole with your finger (you can also soften it with warm water). Cut the dried cranberries into small pieces for later use
2. Use a whisk to beat the softened butter at a low speed until it's fluffy. Add the egg yolk and continue to beat at a low speed until it's fully integrated. Then add the powdered sugar and milk powder and stir until smooth
3. Sift in the low-gluten flour and stir until there is no dry powder (if the scraper can't stir over, you can wear gloves and use your hands to operate, especially when it's cold and your hand temperature can help), finally add the chopped dried cranberries and continue to stir evenly
4. Pour into molds or roll it up with plastic wrap to the appropriate size (shape doesn't matter, it's up to your preference), put it in the refrigerator to chill until it's firm to the touch, then cut it into slices about 5mm thick
5. When plating, pay attention to leave some space between the cookies, put them in the preheated oven middle rack, upper and lower fire 150 degrees for 20 minutes
Small tips
1. After taking out, they are super crispy, milky and sweet, and the sweetness is just right, you can adjust the amount of powdered sugar according to your personal preference
2. The temper of the oven is different, pay attention to the degree of browning
3. If you don't eat it all, you can seal it for storage, it's homemade and doesn't contain additives, so eat it as soon as possible!
