Dog and Grandfather Shared a 25-Year Bond; Dog ‘Followed’ Grandfather After His Death
When a person truly loves another, their eyes and facial expressions can speak for them, because only genuine heartfelt love will naturally manifest.
A female dog named 'Black' lived for 25 years, which is equivalent to the lifespan of an average dog over two lifetimes. However, Black achieved this, as she couldn't bear to leave her grandfather, and her grandfather also needed her companionship.

25 years ago, Black was still a small puppy when she was abandoned. Fortunately, the granddaughter of her grandfather heard Black's cries for help, or more accurately, Black cried because she was hungry.
Black didn't know what 'abandonment' meant; she simply cried and begged for milk out of instinct as a survival-driven animal.
Back then, dogs weren't as fortunate as modern pets, and no one specifically bought milk for them.

The granddaughter saw that Black was so young and couldn't bear to let such a young life perish. Thus, the grandfather and Black formed a heartwarming and long-lasting story because of this small act of kindness.
When the granddaughter first brought Black home, the grandfather was particularly fond of her, and to ensure Black's healthy growth, he inquired among the neighbors if there were any nursing dogs.
Unfortunately, the grandfather didn't find a nursing dog, so he began feeding Black small amounts of porridge one by one, and he would also give her warm water in a glass bottle.
Although other family members cared for Black, the grandfather spent most of his time caring for her. Of course, Black was also healthy thanks to the care of everyone.

As Black grew older, the family worried that she might attack others, suggesting that Black be restrained.
However, the grandfather disagreed; in his eyes, Black was no different from his family members, and she was equally important.
The family couldn't persuade the grandfather, so they allowed him to accompany Black all the time, which eliminated the risk of her harming others.
Dogs' tendency to be aggressive depends on their personalities, but it is most important for owners to properly educate them.

Black was well-trained by the grandfather; she was very friendly and rarely barked. Surprisingly, Black didn't like to play with other dogs.
In Black's life, besides the grandfather, no one and no companion could gain her affection.
As long as the grandfather was present, Black would always wear a radiant smile, especially when she saw him happy. Simply put, Black's happiness came from watching the grandfather happy. It's no exaggeration to say that the grandfather's mood largely determined Black's mood.
Day after day, year after year, the grandfather and Black's relationship was simple: they were always together. Even later, when the grandfather moved to the city with his daughter, Black naturally followed him to live in the city.
Black was over sixty when pet-related products and services gradually increased in the city.

We all know that elderly dogs need special diets, and the grandfather continued to feed Black the same food he had always fed her.
At this time, the grandfather was also getting older, and his food was more suitable for the aging Black.
Black was well cared for by the grandfather, and although she had never eaten dog food or nutrient paste, her body was generally very healthy, with no major illnesses.

As Black grew older, she walked very slowly, and at this time, the grandfather was seriously ill due to his age, and he had undergone major surgery.
Despite Black's age-related infirmities, she still tried her best to care for the sick grandfather, which was probably the reason Black had always persevered.
Until 2019, the grandfather eventually passed away due to illness, and Black had been with her grandfather for 25 years. Black seemed to know that she had completed her mission of protecting her grandfather, so she passed away at the beginning of 2020.
Black didn't want her grandfather to feel lonely in another world; she wanted to continue protecting him.

A dog's lifelong mission is to protect its owner, and dogs will always love their owners more than themselves, provided that their owners also love them.
