The Migrant Birds Have Returned, Spring Has Arrived
Inner Mongolia Erenhot Banner Welcomes Northbound Migratory Birds
The Erenhot Banner wetlands are an important migratory channel. As the weather warms, migratory birds are arriving in Inner Mongolia’s Erenhot Banner.

Local staff discovered that the number of migrating swans, red ducks, and other wild birds is constantly increasing. There are also more than ten national second-level protected animals such as vultures and white-tailed sea eagles gathered around the wetlands, a relatively rare sight. It is expected that migratory birds will gradually reach their peak from March to late April.
More than 300 migratory birds arrived in Dengkou on February 23rd. The police of Dengkou County, Bainganbao, discovered another batch of migratory birds during routine inspection. The new birds mainly included the Falcated Duck, Mandarin Duck, Common Sandpiper, Purple Moorhen, and Red-necked Grebe, with a number of about 300.
