Protecting Migratory Birds in Jingxin Wetland, Hunchun
Jilin Province's Hunchun City's Jingxin Wetland is located at the intersection of the China-Australia and China-Japan migratory routes for birds. Here, rivers run through, lakes are connected in pieces, and the resources of plants and animals are very rich, which is known as the 'five-star rest stop' for migratory birds. To ensure the safety of migratory birds during their stay in Jingxin Wetland, the Hunchun Forest Police Station's grassroots police officers fight on the front line of bird protection, actively increasing patrol intensity, and in snowy weather, they feed migratory birds, severely crack down on illegal hunting and capture of migratory birds, and ensure the safety of migratory bird migration channels.
