Xinjiang Hejing: Swan Couple Enter 'Honeymoon Period'

Every year from March to April, tens of thousands of wild swans migrate to Bayinqomo Autonomous Prefecture and Jingyuan County in Xinjiang, breeding and multiplying in Bayinqomo wetland, and then departing in October and November, with a stay period of more than six months.

Bayinqomo wetland is located in the northwest of Bayinqomo Autonomous Prefecture and Jingyuan County in Xinjiang, at the southern foot of the Tian Shan Mountains, consisting of two high-altitude basins and mountainous grassland between Zhuolitu and Zhuolitu 2.
