Zhangjiajie World Wonders Bailong Sky Ladder, Integrating into this 330 Million Year Old Wulingyuan Peak

Previously, I was a person who couldn't distinguish between Zhangjiajie, Zhangjiakou, and Zhangjiagang. Many years ago, I knew Zhangjiajie because of the movie 'Avatar'. The floating mountains in the movie were full of mystery. Later, I learned that it was based on the Qiankun Column in Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area. I have never had the opportunity to see it, and coincidentally, this time I have an opportunity to go to Hunan. The first thing I thought about was to take a look at this wonderful 'Avatar World'.
I originally came to see the floating mountains, but here I saw another magnificent artificial landscape - the Bailong Sky Ladder. I don't know how it naturally blended into this peak with a history of 330 million years. Without a little bit of surprise, it's as if it's leading to a world on another planet, and indeed, it is. It's the best way to the core scenic area of Wulingyuan, Yuanjiajie.

1. Bailong Sky Ladder
The first one is the Bailong Sky Ladder we just mentioned. The Bailong Sky Ladder is majestic and imposing, with a vertical drop of 335 meters and a running height of 326 meters. It is composed of 154 meters of rock cave and 172 meters of steel structure lattice. It uses three dual-layer fully exposed sightseeing elevators running in parallel, with a running speed of 5.25 meters per second. Therefore, it was named 'the world's highest, fastest and largest carrying elevator' and was listed in the Guinness World Records. What is the significance of this vehicle? First, it will push the Wulingyuan First Bridge, Maze Tower, Sky Mirror and Longmen Peak, Yuanjiajie scenic areas into the forefront.

2. Yuanjiajie
After taking the Bailong Sky Ladder out, a short walk will take you to Yuanjiajie. Standing on the viewing platform of Yuanjiajie, you can see three thousand peaks at a glance, with majestic, rugged and wild landscapes, and different expressions.
The air in Yuanjiajie is very fresh (it is said that some sections of Yuanjiajie have an average of nearly 100,000 negative ions per cubic meter, 500 times higher than the normal environment, which is why it's so comfortable!). It is recommended to go out early, not only to see the sunrise, but also to breathe in the freshest air and feel the world is so wonderful! Human life is worth it!

It is said that tourists who arrive at Maze Tower are fascinated and dizzy, and no one knows where they are, so it has the name of Maze Tower. Standing on the Maze Tower viewing platform, you can see all the scenery. The peaks and stone pillars are like tables, chairs, and buildings, and their shapes are strange and indescribable.
Maze Tower is one of the best viewing platforms in Wulingyuan. Standing here, you can survey the heavens and the earth, patrol the peaks, and your soul will easily be captivated by the scenery. It's a magical sight that shouldn't be ignored!
- Qiankun Column
Finally, I reached the sci-fi world I had been looking forward to! The Qiankun Column in front of me seems different from my impression, but it feels light and head-down, and still stands for millions of years without falling. The scars of one knife and one axe, made it look more weathered and strengthened. I can imagine it swaying with the emerald pine and wind and rain above. For life, it understood more than we do.
Some say, perhaps it was too close to the viewing platform, every wrinkle could be seen clearly by people, but people only saw its skin, few people went to understand its soul. In general, it didn't disappoint me.
5. First Bridge
In this lush and verdant forest, a wide stone slab of about two or three meters and five meters in thickness, spanning about twenty meters, is undoubtedly a masterpiece of the Creator. It waved its hand and paved a road between two peaks, for people to travel. It is relatively high at about 400 meters. When looking down from the bridge, those who are afraid of heights will tremble, and those who are brave will feel like discovering a new world.
On the other side of the bridge is the mountain called Lock Mountain. You can pray and make wishes here. Lovers can buy a padlock and lock it onto the iron fence to pray for a long and happy love.
Yuanjiajie scenic area is concentrated, starting from Back Garden, including Back Garden-Maze Tower-Qiankun Pearl-First Bridge. There are signposts, you can follow the signposts to go. First Bridge is the bus station, you can take a public bus from here to go around.
6. Yangjiajie
Yangjiajie is a new player in Wulingyuan, with beautiful scenery, but the road is quite difficult. Yangjiajie scenic area is scattered, the route is not circular, approximately in an 'Y' shape, with two lines, one on the left and one on the right. The left line is one step to the sky and the corridor, and the right line is Longmen Ridge and Tianbo Cliff. Considering the time is relatively tight and the physical strength is relatively poor, it is recommended to take the right line to visit Wulong Ridge and Tianbo Cliff, and those who have good physical strength can play Tianbo Cliff, and then return to the point on the way back, and then take the left line to visit one step to the sky and the corridor.
From afar, a black-topped house on the middle of the mountain is Wulong Ridge. Below is a deep chasm of ten thousand meters. For those who are not physically strong and timid, it is really not recommended to come.

1. Buy a 225 yuan Wulingyuan scenic ticket, which can be used to visit the Wulingyuan scenic area for four days. It is in effect during the off-season. The ticket for the Bailong Sky Ladder is not included, and it needs to be purchased separately.
Before entering the scenic area, it is best to buy some ham sausage, bread and water outside.
2. When traveling in Zhangjiajie, be careful, don't provoke monkeys. You will encounter many monkeys in Wulingyuan. If you see a monkey, it's best to put your food in your bag and don't let the monkey see it. It will really steal your food!
