Bai Sha Lake (the name given by tourists, currently there is no official name)

It originated from the east slope of Mount Muztagh ice sheet, and flowed to the Brenku Township area, after a large bend, suddenly slowed down, forming this wide triangular river beach. In summer, when the ice and snow melt, the amount of water is large, and the entire sand lake is flooded with water. In autumn, the melting water is small, and the sand lake becomes a thousand thin streams, and the bottom of the sand lake is exposed

In the Pamir Plateau, there are beautiful small villages, not Jiangnan with flowing water and flying swallows in March, but it is more warm, soft and beautiful. This village is called Almond Blossom Village, and it is surrounded by almond blossoms

Almond blossoms are often associated with rain and Jiangnan. In fact, almond blossoms prefer dry northwest. There are almond blossoms all over Xinjiang, and Tashkurgan almond blossoms are the earliest to bloom in Xinjiang

Walking in the valley, both sides are bare cliffs, suddenly at the bend of the river, a tree of almond blossoms stands tall, the entire village is surrounded by almond blossoms

Every April, the whole Almond Blossom Village is surrounded by almond trees, Tashkurgan Tajik women are embroidering and children are playing, and men are farming and grazing, which is a quiet and beautiful picture and poem
