The Four Seasons of a Hometown
The lush greenery is a must; and the flamboyant blossoms, it's my hometown. It may not have the majestic Yellow River or the crystal-clear Li River; it doesn't have the towering Mount Tai or the fiery red leaves of Mount Xiangshan, but it possesses the modern Nylon Town beauty, a unique beauty.
Talking about my hometown, it's not a famous town, but there are also charming landscapes there.
In the spring, my hometown is dressed in flamboyant colors. Look! Branches are starting to show a hint of green, with strings of rhododendrons in shades of purple and red, and you can hear the chirping of birds outside the windows—they're singing the song of spring. After a brief rain, in my hometown's countryside, everything flourishes, it's beautiful beyond words. In the sunshine, my hometown's small stream appears even clearer, ripples spread, shimmering with golden light. My springtime hometown is vibrant and full of energy.
In the summer, my hometown is adorned with a youthful, lush green outfit. In the morning, bees are busy collecting honey. In the afternoon, cicadas chirp incessantly in the trees. At night, crickets sing in the grass. My hometown has a pond, and the lotus flowers are in full bloom, with dragonflies fluttering everywhere – it's like 'Small lotus blossoms just peek out their delicate corners, early on, dragonflies stand atop them.' Children in my hometown are enjoying the fun in the lotus pond: swimming, catching fish, and picking water chestnuts.
In the autumn, my hometown is dressed in a solemn, golden-red evening gown. In my hometown's fields, there are everywhere golden and red fruits. The leaves on both sides of the streets fall rustling, making a 'rustling' sound. My hometown's autumn is a season of maturity, a season of harvest, a fulfilling season, and also a season of sowing.
My hometown's winter is beautiful, but it lacks the elegant scenery of snowflakes dancing in the wind and the magnificent view of snow-covered land. Instead, there are the picturesque, slender streams and ancient bridges decorating my hometown.
Spring welcomes summer, summer welcomes autumn, autumn welcomes winter, and winter welcomes spring. My hometown's four seasons are constantly changing, but its position in my heart is always unchanging, it is always first, because I love my hometown's four seasons and my hometown,
This is my hometown—Yelubei.
