200-Meter Waterfall with Natural Buddha Images, a Mysterious Spot in Linzhi, Tibet
Tibet, a beautiful and longed-for place. Many people say that Tibet is a destination that everyone has to go to once in a lifetime, but in my opinion, it's not like that. Coming to Tibet once is definitely not enough. Tibet is so vast, and just the capital Lhasa is enough to spend a week exploring, let alone Ali, Shannan, Linzhi and other places. I was fortunate enough to have traveled to Tibet once during university, alone, by taking a 40-hour train. That trip was on the Lhasa Line, the most traditional way to go. It included visits to the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Norbulingka, Kyichu Lake, Namtso Lake, and other places. Later, after work, I went to Linzhi once, and I realized that the beauty of Linzhi is different from other places in Tibet. It's not surprising that saying that Linzhi has no Tibet flavor. However, many of Linzhi's beautiful scenery still impress me to this day.
We can simply get to know the Kadangou Scenic Area. The scenic area is located in Linzhi, Tibet, on the G318 route from Linzhi to Lhasa, 24 kilometers from the Bayi district. Many people who travel on the 318 route will visit this area as a must-punch-in place. I personally think that this place is worth punching in for three reasons. 'Kadangou' means 'heavenly paradise' in Tibetan. Here, the mountains are steep and majestic, with a comfortable climate, so I personally think that one reason is that it is a natural oxygen bar.
When we talk about the Kadangou Scenic Area, we cannot fail to mention the unique climate here. The entire scenic area has a warm and humid climate, with plenty of rainfall, and the forest is lush. In summer, the maximum temperature is 28℃, and in winter, the minimum temperature is -6℃. It's a great place for vacationing in summer and winter. When you enter the scenic area, you can feel the towering trees and lush vegetation, which feels like entering a pristine forest. Here, there is no pollution, it's clean like a clear stream, with blue sky, white clouds, and a gentle breeze, which is a place where you can cultivate your body and mind and enjoy 'wasting time'.
Secondly, I think it's also the natural-formed various Buddha statues here, which is also the reason for the perennial popularity of Kadangou. Before entering, the guide introduced to us that Kadangou is a very magical place. There are natural-formed Buddha statues, goddesses, Guanyin, protectors, and the like, as well as the Tibetan words 'Six Words of Truth' Buddha characters, which gave Kadangou infinite imagination. Everyone knows that Tibetan compatriots believe in Buddhism, and Kadangou has formed many natural Buddha statues. Therefore, the scenic area has many Tibetan men accompanying mothers to sincerely pray. Moreover, the guide also told us that seeing Buddha statues is a lucky thing because many people cannot see them, indicating that you are not connected to Buddhism. Of course, we know that these words have no scientific basis, but I want to say that giving the scenic area a beautiful meaning is not a bad thing.
Of course, the third point is the unique Kadangou Sky Buddha Waterfall. The Sky Buddha Waterfall is a waterfall that flows from the middle of the mountain, with a drop of about 200 meters, which is particularly spectacular. Why is it called the Sky Buddha Waterfall? Because there is a natural-formed Buddha statue at the place where the waterfall is located, with relatively clear eyebrows and eyes, and there are two men protecting it on both sides, which is solemn and sacred, so it was named the Sky Buddha Waterfall.
Finally, these three points cannot fully represent the Kadangou Scenic Area. After all, these are all gifts from nature. There are also many spinning wheels in the scenic area. Everyone knows that the spinning wheel has a very important position in the hearts of Tibetans. Putting the 'Six Words of Truth' scriptures into the spinning wheel and turning it by hand, the Tibetan people put the scriptures into the spinning wheel and recite them once when they turn it once. It's a very important religious ritual. However, there is a very big taboo, and the order of turning the spinning wheel must not be wrong. If you don't know, you must ask in advance. Finally, the editor asks, when you think of Linzhi, which scenic area impresses you the most? Have you been to other attractions in Tibet? Welcome to comment and leave a message. I am Xie Xufanzi, always on the road, may my words and pictures add a little warmth to your everyday life. Thank you for meeting.
