Don't Miss the Ali South Line Ranch – Also Visit Sacred Lake and God Mountain
Here is an efficient self-driving trip in Linzi.
The Ali Great Ring Line in Tibet is in the area where the Himalayas and the Kangchenjunga Mountains converge, which is the origin of the Yarlung Tsangpo River, the Indus River, and the Ganges River, beloved by travelers from all walks of life. It's said, 'You haven't been to Ali if you haven't been to Tibet.' Approximately so.
The conventional route of the Ali Great Ring Line is to take G219 from Zada, continuing north to Ali's capital, Litsohe, visiting the Bangong Lake, and then taking S301 via Geji, Qietuo to Ctitun. When I was planning the route, I reluctantly gave up Bangong Lake and returned to Hol in the northeast via Yaheti to reach the northern line of Ali, which can save about 2 days.

Turn to Mapungcong Lake, and see Namikunini Peak along the way.
Hol is a relatively niche place on the Ali Ring Line. Since the return journey is twice as long, we must dig into its essence.
So, what is Hol?
Turn to Mapungcong Lake – the starting point.
Here, 'turning the lake' refers to driving around the lake by car. The car circles the lake for nearly 100 kilometers, and you can drive the most essential 60 kilometers in a clockwise direction from the southeast, and enter into Kailu Temple via Ghost Lake and La'an Temple to Kiu Temple. The driving route is: Hol → Zhetse Temple → Chuqu Temple → Quetu Temple → Ghost Lake Scenic Spot → Kiu Temple.

Hol Ranch.
It's unimaginable that there are so fertile ranches in the highlands, and you can also see Gongrenpozi Mountain and Namikunini Peak. Following Hol's main street towards the grassland, pass through the alleys, and turn right all the way to the end. Suddenly, an endless ranch appears before you. Gongrenpozi and Namikunini Peak stand side by side, with cattle and horses, clouds and clouds, and a dense grassland spreads across the land like a golden carpet. The pastoral song of the grassland emerges.
Namikunini Peak – Sunrise over the Golden Mountain.

When viewing Gongrenpozi Mountain in Hol Ranch, the effect is not very good because of the mountains. However, you must not miss Namikunini Peak. Namikunini Peak is in the southwest, with a swampy wetland in front of it, and it's beautiful at sunrise.
