Seven Sanya Locations Selected for Hainan Province's Second Batch of Junior Middle School Student Exploration and Travel Practice Education Bases

Renmin Net, Sanya, March 9th (Song Tongtong) Recently, the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture, Radio, Film and Sports has announced the list of Hainan Province's Second Batch of Junior Middle School Student Exploration and Travel Practice Education Bases, with the list covering 19 scenic areas and schools across the province. Sanya has seven locations selected, including Sanya China-Russia Hotel Management Academy, Sizhaotian Tourism Area, Tianya Jiao Tourist Area, and Red Daughter Army Performing Art Park. This ranking is the highest in the province.

According to reports, in order to promote the construction of junior middle school student exploration and travel practice education bases in Hainan Province, from September to December 2019, the Hainan Provincial Department of Education and the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture, Radio, Film and Sports formed a selection group. Strictly in accordance with the spirit of the 12 departments of the Hainan Provincial Department of Education's 'Opinions on Promoting Junior Middle School Student Exploration and Travel' file, after several stages including preliminary evaluation, follow-up evaluation, material review and field inspection, the final 19 units that met the qualifications were selected.

Taking Sanya Sizhaotian Exploration Base as an example, the base is located within Sanya Natural Museum and the beautiful Xiaowan Bay, with a unique geographical advantage. The base also has four classrooms for teaching and three (quality extension venues), of which Xiaowan Bay beach can accommodate 500 people for. In recent years, Sanya Sizhaotian Tourism Area has hosted exploration and travel projects for schools in the province. The base's series of high-quality exploration and travel themed courses have been widely praised by students, parents and schools.

Sizhaotian Tourism Area Exploration Project Leader introduced that Sizhaotian Exploration Base will, based on obtaining Hainan Province's second batch of junior middle school student exploration and travel practice education base, focus on building a distinctive and first-class exploration venue, continuously excavating the cultural essence of the scenic area, promoting the upgrade and development of Sizhaotian's exploration and travel practice education base, and creating a well-known exploration brand in Hainan Province and throughout China.
