It has long been heard that the Yunqui Bamboo Path in Hangzhou is like paradise on Earth, and today seeing it with my own eyes is truly extraordinary.
One of the Ten Scenic Spots of West Lake – Yunqui Bamboo Path is located at the south foot of Wuyun Mountain in Hangzhou, and it is the most remote scenic spot among the many attractions around West Lake.

Yunqi Bamboo Path
But every time you come here, it's like entering a 'Wizard of Oz' world. It's isolated and independent, tranquil and quiet, and it's the life we long for!
The Yunqi Bamboo Path landscape refers to the mountain valley landscape with dense trees in Yunqi: ancient temple in the deep mountains, bamboo path with ( - the sound of stones).

The winding path goes deep into the mountains, with a babbling stream flowing along the path, and the charming birdsong echoes from the forest. The environment is quiet and cool.
Yunki Bamboo Path is renowned for its coolness and tranquility. Visiting during the hot summer months allows you to fully experience its lush greenery, coolness, quietness, and elegance. It's a great place for people who are always in a fast-paced environment to relax.

The constant chirping of cicadas during the summer months is the best time to visit Yunqi Bamboo Path.

Bus stop: you can see the inscription 'Yunki Bamboo Path' immediately upon getting off the bus, and then walking in, you'll find that the sides of the road are all lined with bamboo. Yunqi is particularly abundant in bamboo, and many ancient trees from the surrounding West Lake are concentrated here.
Walking along the path, you'll be attracted by various ancient trees. I remember last time I went, I helped a pair of elderly gentleman and lady take pictures, that tree was 800 years old, it's truly a very long history, and there are also many trees over a thousand years old, you will really feel your own insignificance.

This is also a filming location for the movie 'The Cracking of the Omen'. The Qing slate in the center of the path is separated by black bricks from the surrounding pebbles, and it is said that the Qing emperors Kangxi and Qianlong both visited Yunqi, with the center as their imperial road for Kangxi and Qianlong.
There are washing hearts, Three Gatherings, Return Dragon, Delighting nature, Imperial bamboo, Encounter rain pavilions along the path. At the end of the bamboo path, ancient trees line up, there are pavilions to rest in, and tea houses to sit and drink tea.
