83 A-Class Scenic Areas in Weifang Offer Free Admission to Nationwide Medical Personnel This Year

To accelerate the resumption of work and business for tourism and cultural enterprises, boost confidence in the tourism industry, promote the comprehensive recovery of the tourism market, and contribute to stable and healthy social and economic development, to guide tourism consumption, on March 28th, the Weifang Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism held the launch ceremony of the 'Spring Blooms and Enjoy Weifang' Cultural Tourism Activity at the Fuhua Amusement Park.

To boost the recovery of the cultural and tourism market and create a safe and orderly consumption environment, the Weifang Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism launched the 'Three Guarantees' action: 'Safe Play' Scenic Areas, 'Safe Stay' Hotels, and 'Safe Taste' Food, guiding tourists to consume with confidence; it also instructed tourism enterprises to formulate complete prevention and control plans and emergency response plans and conduct risk hazard detection and rectification for resumption of work and business.

Utilizing the 'Culture and Tourism Cloud' platform and municipal portal websites, all cultural and tourism system WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, and Kuaikan accounts launched 'Online Weifang', showcasing more than 4,000 excellent works to enrich citizens' leisure time.

Integrating Weifang's tourism resources, it creates healthy and restorative wellness tours, natural tours close to mountains and water, and leisure tours for spring blooms, with distinctive, in-depth, warm, and precise features.

To boost confidence in tourism and cultural enterprises and promote the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry, the Weifang Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism has introduced several support policies:

★Encouraging the quality improvement of scenic areas, and awarding different rewards to scenic areas that are newly rated as National Tourist Resort, 3A-level scenic areas, or Provincial Boutique Cultural Tourism Towns and Boutique Tourist Characteristic Villages;

★Encouraging travel agencies to introduce tourists from other places, with different rewards based on the travel agency's annual number of tourists to Weifang, chartered flights and groups, as well as self-driving tours;

★Supporting the development of non-state-owned museums, providing subsidies to museums that are legally established and operating normally for one year and open to the public for free;

★Incentivizing the upgrading of guide staff's quality, rewarding guide staff of different levels and languages, as well as guide winners in the National and Provincial Tourism Industry Skills Competition and star hotel employees through different standards;
