Sihong: Ten Thousand Acres of Peach Trees in Full Bloom, Drawing Tourists to Explore Cherry Blossom Groves

Spring warmth and blossoming flowers provide a wonderful time for appreciating flowers and scenery. In Chenxi Town of Sihong County, over ten thousand acres of peach trees have arrived at their peak flowering season. Looking out, a continuous dozens of kilometers of peach blossom avenue resembles a pink silk robe, breathtakingly beautiful.

When the reporter entered Chenxi's ten-thousand-acre peach orchard, clusters of pale pink peach blossoms were in full bloom, with both light pink and deep red varieties, contrasting beautifully against the lush green buds. Delicate red petals, topped with pointy, tender yellow tips, playfully peeked out. As a breeze blew, the peach blossoms resembled fluttering pink butterflies, dancing in a charming manner, leaving people breathless and mesmerized.

The entire ten thousand acres of peach trees have blossomed, naturally attracting many tourists to come and admire them. They wore Hanfu and took photos in the blossoms, appreciating the beauty of the peach blossoms and enjoying a peaceful, immersive experience within nature's beauty.

Since planting pears in 1999, Sihong County's Chenxi Town's pear-growing industry has grown to a considerable scale. Currently, large areas of peach trees are blooming in succession, creating a beautiful floral landscape that is a major attraction in Sihong during the spring. Not only is it beautiful, it has also brought significant income to the local area. Currently, the area of pear cultivation in Chenxi Town has reached ten thousand acres, with an annual output exceeding 40 million kilograms and a value of over 150 million yuan. The average income of peach farmers has increased by 150,000 yuan per year, and 56 low-income farming households are employed in e-commerce, achieving poverty alleviation and prosperity through events like the Peach Blossom Festival, pre-sale of pears, and tree planting programs.
