Sand Mountain
Sand Mountain is located 130 kilometers northeast of Yili County, starting at the gravel ground, with a relative height up to 100 meters, about 1500 meters long and 800 meters wide. Sand Mountain's sand rumble is a major feature. When sand grains slide across the sand on a large scale, it will emit a rumbling sound. This sound is loud and spreads far, with a distinct rhythm, like a formation of fighter jets performing low-altitude operations, from far to near, from near to far, the sound is majestic and everlasting
The sand in Sand Mountain is not flowing downwards, but is flowing upwards like lake water, creating swirling, gentle, beautiful ripples. Not far below Sand Mountain, there is a spring, shaped like the full moon, the spring water emerges from the sand bottom, clear and transparent, drinking it is cool and refreshing, penetrating the lungs, making Sand Mountain even more magical
Original Hu forest
The Original Hu forest is located 150 kilometers northeast of Yili County, the Hu forest area is about 30 square kilometers, dating back 65 million years. Hu 'lives for a thousand years without dying, dies a thousand years without falling, falls a thousand years without decay,' therefore has the nickname 'Desert Hero Tree'
Maoquan Bay
About 28 kilometers south of Yili County, there is a vast grassland – Maoquan Bay, located on the north bank of the South Canal branch of the Mo Lei River, situated in a low-lying, open terrain between mountains, resembling a livestock enclosure, hence the name Maoquan Bay
Shi Ren Zi Gou
Shi Ren Zi Gou is located in the south of Yili County, south of the Tian Shan Mountains, on the upper reaches of the Mo Lei River. The river section is 13 kilometers long and 350 meters wide. The south bank of the river has numerous tributaries converging into it, the right bank slope is relatively gentle, about 15-20 degrees, forests and grasslands are abundant, willows fly in spring. The name Shi Ren Zi Gou comes from a stone block about 2 meters high and shaped like a human at the mouth of the gorge
Mo Lei Water Mill Gorge
In the southwest of Yili County, there is a gorge called Water Mill Gorge, a beautiful and quiet place, Water Mill Gorge's mountains and water are unique and charming, returning to nature, enjoying pure and quiet time.
