Wangcunkou Town is the perennial port on the Wuxi River upstream, a collection and shipping hub for bamboo and charcoal, and a significant village in Shichang Mountain. Due to its status as one of the central areas of the (Zhexi Nanyue – Zhejiang Southwest) guerrilla base established during the Southern Anhui Guerrilla Warfare period, it has now become a red tourism route.
