Exploring the Hidden Gem of Bifen Stream, Sichuan
Bifen Stream is located at the foot of Gongga Mountain in Liye County, Aba Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, said to be the silhouette of Gongga Mountain. It is renowned for its beautiful natural scenery, perfect natural ecology, and excellent ecological environment.
Spring is a good time to view flowers. Bifen Stream's spring features blue sky, white clouds, mountains, snow peaks, weathered rocks, alpine meadows, alpine shrubs, and mixed forests, forming a multi-layered and stunning natural landscape. Here, you can find wildflowers, wild grasses, medicinal herbs, rare and endangered animals, and various birds. Every spring, the wildflowers and wild grasses bloom in a dazzling display, especially the 'Yangcao' (Chinese Bellflower) which blooms best from early May to late June, covering the entire valley with a delicate fragrance.
Summer is a great place to escape the heat. The large area of original forest regulates the climate, purifies the air, and beautifies the environment. The mountains are lush and green, with trees competing for glory, the air is cool and refreshing. On sunny days, people stroll through the forest and by the stream, or take an electric car to admire the scenery, connect with nature, and relax their minds, immersing themselves in a beautiful and cool environment, giving them a sense of tranquility and comfort, truly experiencing the joy given by nature.
Autumn is captivating. From September to November each year is the best time to view the red leaf colorful forest. Decades of colorful forests extend from the valley floor to the mountain peak. Some are golden, others are emerald green, maple trees are like fire, and all the trees are dyed in various colors. The streams in the mountains flow gently, the snow peaks are crystal clear, and a colorful oil painting reflects in the water, creating a series of captivating golden autumn landscapes.

September 16 – next year April 14 (Winter) 08:00-17:30; Summer stops entering the garden at 15:30; Winter stops entering the garden at 15:00.
Ticket price: Ticket plus sightseeing car price 128 yuan
Transportation: Buses depart daily from Chengdu Chaetizi Railway Station to Liye County, departing at 7:10, 8:10, 9:00, ticket prices ranging from 58-62 yuan, the entire journey takes about 5 hours. From Liye County, you can only go to Bifen Stream by carpooling, usually 15-20 yuan per person.
