Dreamy Nanxun, a Place You Don't Want to Leave, Enjoying a Slow Life #Wake Up Your Precious Time#

Seeing the title, you would think the character 'jing' is misspelled, it should be 'jing', in fact, 'jing' is my true feelings about Nanxun. Nanxun, with a river and two banks, observing the scenery across the river, it's hard to get bored, immersing yourself in the scenery, time stood still, people in a dream……

Our three of us arrived at Nanxun from Huangshan by bus at Nanxun's high-speed road entrance near ten o'clock at night. After getting off the bus, the road was quiet, there was no one, and no taxi could be taken. We could only proceed by following the mobile navigation. After walking for more than ten minutes, a car stopped behind us. We quickly asked for directions, and the driver said it was quite far away, asking us to take us, which was really lucky. After chatting, we learned that the driver was from Zhengzhou, having worked here for more than ten years as a migrant worker. The driver always took us to the riverside. Because the bridge was impassable, he told us that crossing the bridge was where we were supposed to stay. We said goodbye to the driver and climbed onto the riverside bridge, seeing the ships sailing at night. Our fatigue disappeared and we became excited again.

After crossing the bridge, we soon arrived at the hotel and checked in. We didn't feel sleepy and, following the instructions of the hotel owner, we went to nearby Baidianlou, which was quiet, and under the illumination of the lights, the Jiangnan water town scenery was presented before our eyes.

It's not surprising that ancient people said: 'Travel all over Jiangnan, only live in Zhoushan.'

Nanxun Ancient Town is different from other Jiangnan water towns, it is not noisy and commercialized, it is still a living original Jiangnan water town.

Since the Southern Song Dynasty, Nanxun has gathered merchants. By the mid-Qing Dynasty it flourished and reached its peak, and in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China it became a national silk trading center.

There is a saying: 'One city in Huzhou is not as good as half a town in Nanxun.'

Baidianlou was named because there were more than a hundred houses built on both banks of the river, and a long plank bridge connected the two banks. Houses were built along the river, some used space to build shophouses, and the front of some houses were connected with eaves, making it convenient for pedestrians to walk, and they could avoid rain in the rainy season and shade in the summer. Baidianlou's three-ridge-and-hip roof wall was also known as the horse-head wall, and some had a lute-shaped wall. The walls between the houses were separated by, which led people's vision to the depth. The stone-paved embankment along the river was neat and well-maintained, with river docks, which was convenient for people, boatmen and merchants to come ashore, unload goods and travel, and for people to draw water and wash clothes. Baidianlou's buildings maintained the style of Ming Dynasty architecture, but also had the residual charm of Qing Dynasty architecture. It is a characteristic residential building with Jiangnan water town flavor.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Baidianlou has been used as a public building and rented out to the people to live in, and it has been well protected. The area of Baidianlou is not open to the public, and I feel that it is even better than the scenic spot. If you only go to the scenic spot and don't come to Baidianlou, it's like not coming to Nanxun.

Nanxun Ancient Town passes through the north and south through the river, with intersecting streets and bridges, gray tiles and white walls, and green willows fluttering by the water. It's a truly original Jiangnan water town.

Nanxun's shops close early and open late, closing around 4:30 in the afternoon.

Residents will proactively tell you that the scenic spots are not open to the public before 8 pm and after 5 pm in the afternoon.

Xie flowed through the city, and people lived in the mirror, Wood lotus flowers added color to the old mansions.

At dusk, the tranquility of Nanxun's ancient town.

Nanxun, it feels like a familiar place, ah, it's a dream hometown!

Local people enthusiastically told us that you must go to Zhuangyuan Lou to eat signature double-stranded noodles, and the next morning we arrived at Zhuangyuan Lou at nearly nine o'clock, it's just a small shop, there are not many people eating breakfast here, we each ordered a double-stranded noodles, the price is not expensive, it's really delicious and authentic, a specialty, it's delicious. The diners here are all quiet. After eating Zhuangyuan Lou's noodles, we didn't become a scholar, let's hope the next generation can be listed, At night, returning to Baidianlou, sitting by the river, in a quiet state, enjoying the beautiful scenery of the city river, ancient bridge, ancient houses and ancient trees, red lanterns, I just want to stay in a dream, quietly, quietly…

Feel the quietness of Nanxun, like a long-lost feeling, you will rethink the meaning of life, the essence of happiness, and what we pursue…
