Linzhi Has a Hidden Gem: Lake resembling a Ruby - Tibet's Only 5A Natural Scenic Area
When talking about Linzhi, Tibet, what are everyone's thoughts? I believe many people, like me, think of Linzhi first when they hear the name, and the 318 National Highway perfectly passes through Linzhi. From the Linzhi Airport, self-driving to the South Iyigou-Kading Tibetan Waterfall-Lulang Town-Lulang Forest Sea-Tongmai Grand Bridge-Qiji La Mountain-Guhong Lake-Gangyun, it's all a breathtaking landscape. Moreover, in April, the Linzhi Peach Blossom Festival is in full swing, although this year due to special circumstances, we have also traveled to Linzhi through live broadcasts. However, today, I want to share a hidden gem in Linzhi, like an emerald green jewel, and it's the only natural scenic area in Tibet with a 5A-level ranking. Moreover, before May, all tourists can visit it without paying an entrance fee. This scenic area is the Bamsang Cuo Scenic Area in Linzhi.
Bamsang Cuo, I believe many people are not familiar with it, but those who have been there will be amazed that such a magical place exists in the world. It's really a compliment to the vastness of the country's mountains and rivers. Bamsang Cuo Scenic Area is located in the deep valley of the Babo River, about 36 kilometers upstream from Babo Town, Gongbu Jiangda County, Linzhi, with an altitude of about 3700 meters. The Bamsang Cuo Scenic Area integrates snow mountains, lakes, forests, waterfalls, ranches, historical sites, and temples, with a length of about 12 kilometers.
Bamsang Cuo is also known as Zhaogao Lake in Tibetan, which means 'green water' in Tibetan. How beautiful is Bamsang Cuo? It's difficult to describe it with words, as I mentioned earlier, it's the only natural scenic area in Tibet with a 5A-level ranking. Not only that, it's also a national-level forest park and has been listed as a world tourist attraction by the World Tourism Organization. It integrates snow mountains, lakes, forests, waterfalls, ranches, historical sites, and temples, with scenery that is different in each season, and it gathers numerous rare and precious wild plants. It is truly a paradise on earth, which everyone affectionately calls 'Little Switzerland'.
When you arrive at Bamsang Cuo Scenic Area, you can feel an unprecedented sense of cleanliness, really like an emerald green gem embedded in the plateau. The oxygen content here is high, so most people will not have altitude sickness. However, this is not absolute, because such beautiful scenery is difficult to control one's emotions, and if you are particularly excited and jump around, it's easy to get overexcited. This is especially important for newcomers to Tibet, and it is important to control your emotions.
Actually, Bamsang Cuo is just a small scenic spot in Linzhi, Tibet. Linzhi is too big, and there are too many beautiful landscapes. Everyone says that the spring in Tibet is Linzhi's spring, and Linzhi's spring can better represent the whole of China's spring. Finally, I wonder if you have ever traveled to Tibet? When you think of Linzhi, what do you think of most?
