Daying Beach in Xiapu: A Perfect Summer Destination - Especially for Watching the Sunrise
If you're traveling with many companions, I highly recommend Xiaupu's Daying Beach. Daying Beach is practically a must-visit place for me and my friends every summer – chasing waves and playing in the water with sand that's wonderfully soft beneath your feet. There are boats on the shore, offering trips to the islands ahead. I just feel it's a very suitable place for summer, you can ride beach motorcycles and drift along the village in the sunlight, and wearing flip-flops and a sun hat is a common sight. Elderly people are fanning themselves under the shade of trees, with the sound of the stream flowing by – it instantly immerses you in a comfortable and relaxed state.

When you walk through the forest and reach the beach, I'm absolutely thrilled! You'll be running to the waves with sandals in hand. Daying is a tribe, with many guesthouses, and there are also numerous local delicacies nearby (though I personally didn't find them very tasty). In the evening, a group of friends will build a bonfire and play music on their phones. Cold beer, you don't need to prepare anything. Bring your money, almost every shop here includes barbecue ingredients, equipment, and beer. At night, there are really a lot of stars.
After eating and drinking, I like to take a walk along the beach, wearing headphones and listening to music. The soft sand invites you to run into the water, and you'll be splashed with seawater. Sitting on the beach, you can chat about your thoughts, drink some beer. No one wants to play on their phones; this moment is irrelevant to romance. Note: Daying doesn't require an entrance fee and is very cost-effective. The unedited sunrise is truly stunning. I planned a sunrise viewing specifically, setting an alarm to wake up before dawn, and then called a car to go to the beach. At that moment, I was wondering, what kind of sunrise is this? It's really beautiful,

Trust me, seeing it with your own eyes is far more beautiful than any picture. Let me introduce you to another great place in Xiaupu – Xiaupu North Bank. I love all the light that can be reached with my right hand. The meaning of 'flowing light' is multifaceted. For me, 'flowing light' represents the passing of time and the moonlight like water at night, as well as the sunlight that shimmers and flows on my arm before I set off. I walk with the flowing light to seek it.
To be honest, I wanted to go alone. But then my friends joined me, so we became a large group, and we set off. Our accommodation and driver were the kinds I didn't like – people who made decisions for others. They forcefully brought us to a guesthouse. Me and another rebellious friend secretly ran out. I didn't want to stay in that guesthouse, and he didn't either. We looked around and found this one, which is four-sided and has a very friendly and welcoming owner. I confirmed with my friends that we were in, so we called them to join us.
