Shizhou Hot News: Wuiwei City Culture and Tourism Bureau Holds Training Meeting for National 5A-Level Scenic Area Creation
On March 12th, to actively promote the rapid and orderly implementation of the creation of Wuiwei City's National 5A-Level Scenic Area, the Wuiwei City Culture and Tourism Bureau held a training meeting for the heads of units tentatively creating 5A-Level Scenic Areas.
Relevant personnel from the Wuiwei City Culture and Tourism Bureau conducted detailed training for attendees on the criteria, content, standards, procedures, and scoring standards for national 5A-level tourist attractions. They also provided professional guidance on the creation direction of each scenic area, resource advantages, distinctive culture, and scoring projects. At the same time, they discussed the shortcomings, disadvantages, and challenges in the creation of each scenic area, as well as project issues.
The meeting required: firstly, to accelerate the launch of the creation work. National 5A-Level Scenic Areas are the highest honors and brands for domestic tourist attractions, and the creation difficulty is very high and the creation cycle is long. LeiTai Scenic Area, Shenzhou Desert Wild Animal Park, and Binggou River Scenic Area are still far from the standards of National 5A-Level Scenic Areas in terms of infrastructure, service quality, and environmental quality, and must start the creation work as soon as possible to strive to be included in the provincial recommended list and the national creation list. Secondly, it is necessary to quickly establish the creation leadership team. ‘Creation promotes construction,’ a leadership group will be established to coordinate the creation work, and will be responsible for drafting the National 5A-Level Tourist Attraction Creation Work Plan and Task Schedule, and to promote the creation work in an orderly manner. Thirdly, it is necessary to invite expert consultations at a high level. A national scenic evaluation committee expert library expert will be hired as a 5A-Level Scenic Area creation consultant to conduct consultations and guidance for each scenic area, providing guidance on areas such as tourist transportation, tourist safety, intelligent tourism, publicity and promotion, tourist shopping, comprehensive management, resource extraction, and environmental protection, identifying shortcomings and advantages, and clarifying creation goals, breaking down and detailing creation tasks, and assigning responsibilities and deadlines. Finally, it is necessary to quickly complete the creation materials. Units intending to create must submit creation applications, develop creation plans, and accelerate the compilation of creation materials. The materials should highlight the characteristics of the scenic area’s construction. In particular, LeiTai is emphasized as the birthplace of Chinese tourism and a cultural venue with Wuiwei characteristics, and Shenzhou Desert Wild Animal Park’s ‘Three Wilds’ and endangered animal breeding and unique experience are highlighted as rare features, while Binggou River Scenic Area emphasizes its natural landscape, ethnic culture, and rustic nature.
The training meeting was attended by over 20 people, including representatives from the Provincial Aviation Travel Company Tianma Investment, LeiTai Scenic Area, Tianzui County Culture and Tourism Bureau, Binggou River Scenic Area, Wuiwei Culture and Tourism Group, and Shenzhou Desert Wild Animal Park, as well as their business backbone.
