Two Must-Visit Destinations: The World is So Big, Let's Start Here!
The world is so big, I want to go and see it. It’s a sentence that exudes a sense of freedom and sophistication, inspiring many to yearn for it. However, when it comes to implementing it in concrete action plans, few can actually do it. The world is so big, and I most want to go here, is the most reliable way of thinking. Everyone’s time, energy, and finances are limited.
When it comes to the most desired travel destinations, everyone will have their own answer. Below, I will analyze and introduce two places that are absolutely worth visiting, to see if they align with your thoughts.

Coastal Tourism
Timeless Charm Across the Ages
The first must-visit place is Beijing. With five thousand years of history, numerous historical sites and relics from all dynasties, and a vast ocean of excellent historical and cultural heritage. These precious and mysterious ancient cultural sites are always attracting worldwide tourism enthusiasts. Although Beijing was only the capital for eight dynasties, it is shorter than Xi’an’s thirteen dynasties, but the last few dynasties established Beijing as their capital, resulting in a large number of historical sites and well-preserved relics. Furthermore, most people are more familiar with recent dynasties, so there’s naturally greater interest. Nanjing, a six-dynasty capital, is also noteworthy. This is one aspect of why Beijing is a must-visit.

A Corner of the Forbidden City
In terms of tourism, Beijing has many appealing attractions. As the capital, Beijing has a magnificent and dramatic revolutionary and construction history since the founding of New China, producing many modern architectural complexes such as Tiananmen Square area, Olympic Games venue area, etc.; Cultural tourism areas like Tiananmen Flag Raising, 798 Art District, Wangfujing Commercial Street all have distinctive characteristics. In addition, comprehensive and valuable museum exhibits, diverse and exciting performances in various theaters and drama halls, and a rich culinary culture, as well as the water landscape in the suburbs – all contribute to why Beijing is a must-visit destination.

Bird’s Nest Night View
Driven by a natural inclination to explore the ocean
The second must-visit place is Sanya, Hainan Island. With the saying ‘Two-thirds of the Earth’s surface is water’, people living on land have a natural desire to explore the ocean. Hainan Island is surrounded by sea, with clear and azure water. The island has dense tropical rainforests, with a forest cover rate of 48.7%. There are various natural landscapes formed by mountains, hills, plateaus, and plains. The unique charm of 30-odd ethnic minorities makes the island’s social landscape colorful and diverse. The history dating back to the Tang and Dynasties is also worthy of note.

Sanya Island
Sanya is a distinctive international tourist city with tropical seaside scenery, often referred to as ‘Oriental Hawaii’. It has a high livability index and ranks among the top in the ‘most characteristic and best tourist destinations’ selection, owing to its blend of Chinese and global characteristics. The terrain is in the shape of a long narrow polygon with seven or eight bays. It is a natural oceanic resort paradise. Yalong Bay beach stretches for 7 kilometers and is gentle and wide, with a shallow sea area of 50 to 60 meters, and a visibility of 7 to 9 meters. There are coral reefs, various tropical fish and precious shellfish underneath. The sea temperature is suitable for swimming all year round, and it is known as ‘the first bay in the world’. Besides, there are also Tianya Haijing Scenic Area, Bay, South Mountain Tourism and Culture Tourism Area, National Coral Reef Nature Reserve and other thirty-odd outstanding scenic spots, which make people unwilling to leave. This attracts inland tourists greatly.
