A reporter from Wulong District, Chongqing, learned that the 'Search for the Tea Fairy' activity at Bai Ma Mountain Scenic Area in Wulong has ended after the online voting for the online spokesperson of 'Bai Ma Xianhong' (White Horse Xianhong) concluded yesterday (31). After intense competition, 10 'little fairies' – Tao Cuilai, a guzheng teacher, and Chen Peijie, a tea art student – emerged from 30 finalists to participate in the 'Bai Ma Xianhong Mining Festival' held on April 4th to 6th at the Tianci Qiyuan Scenic Area. From April 4th to 6th, the Tianci Qiyuan Scenic Area of Bai Ma Mountain will hold the 'Bai Ma Xianhong Mining Festival', and the 10 'little fairies' will also perform tea art performances and their selected talents on site.

According to the organizers of the event, after a 6-day online voting campaign to recruit the online spokesperson for 'Bai Ma Xianhong' – White Horse Xianhong – 30 'little fairies' participated. Tao Cuilai, a guzheng teacher from Chongqing, led the rankings with 12756 votes, while Chen Peijie, a tea art student from Chongqing City Vocational College, came in second with 9445 votes. The remaining contestants on the voting leaderboard include Lu Yu, Li Dan, An Chaolian, Xiao Jianping, Long Yuanliang, Zhang Yixing, Wei Yaling, and Yuan Hongmei.

From April 4th to 6th, the Tianci Qiyuan Scenic Area of Bai Ma Mountain will hold the 'Bai Ma Xianhong Mining Festival', and the 10 'little fairies' will also perform tea art performances and their selected talents on site. After the professional tea art teachers, organizing unit personnel and senior media personnel formed the judging panel, the final 'Tea Fairy' will be determined. The judging process will also include an interactive prize draw with audience participation. Interested citizens can visit the scenic area to participate in the activity and enjoy the performances and rewards.

In addition, after the selection activity, Tianci Qiyuan Scenic Area will also organize the participating contestants and scenic area staff dressed as tea fairies to lead tourists to experience the entire process of picking and making Xianhong, and feel the culture of Xianhong. The event provides Hanfu rental, allowing tourists to choose their favorite Hanfu, combine with makeup and enjoy a traditional tea-picking journey.

Notably, Bai Ma Mountain Tianci Qiyuan Scenic Area in Chongqing still does not charge entrance fees before the 'May Day' Labor Day, with mountains meandering, clouds vast and misty, resembling a fairyland, featuring tea gardens, Flying Kiss, White Horse Ancient Street, Romantic Sky Street, BaGuo Stone Forest, Wild Luxury Tea Farm, Guzheng Pavilion Tea Cottage, Tianci Valley, Wangxianya, ChaShan Town, and other characteristic attractions. The scenic area's most representative one-kilometer high-altitude tourist project 'Flying Kiss' will also be open to the public in May.
