Las Vegas on the Desert: It's Different from What You Imagine!
Las Vegas on the Desert: It's Different from What You Imagine!
Today, I want to share my American trip with you. We flew from Washington, D.C., to Detroit for a transfer, and finally arrived in 'Las Vegas.' Walking along the Las Vegas Strip, under the scorching sun, were wide, straight, and clean streets, lined with tall palm trees and flourishing bougainvillea. We occasionally encountered small groups of elegantly dressed tourists, making the city seem beautiful and tranquil. However, when you step into the hotels, it's a completely different scene. In hotels like the Egyptian Pyramid Hotel (built in a 1:1 scale), the MGM Grand Hotel (with 5005 rooms), the famous 'Caesar's Palace,' 'Mirage,' 'The Castle,' and 'Flaming Feathers,' fountains flowed, flowers flourished, and a sense of coolness prevailed.
We saw: The casino floor was covered with crimson carpets, illuminated by soft lights. Well-dressed, elegant people freely came and went. Inside the lobby, hallways, and corridors, there were countless slot machines 'ka-ching-ching'-ing incessantly, swallowing or spitting out coins without a word. In the luxurious lounges, groups were playing poker or other games of chance. Inside the closed presidential suites were wealthy gentlemen and princes 'rolling' big money.

This place is far from the 'smog and chaos' we imagined; it seems to be a 'sophisticated' and 'civilized' place. Here, we not only visited the scenes of the casino but also enjoyed the miniature 'Little Manhattan' scenery, the tranquil indoor gardens, the realistic 'Romanate Street,' and the exciting White Tiger performance!
