Anhui Huangshan Villages Suitable for Self-Driving Tours, Away from Crowds, No Tickets, Rapeseed Flower Terraces are Stunning
Continuing my Wannan trip today.
According to the previous plan, this article was originally supposed to be about an uninhabited village near Shitang. However, Shitang is now restricting access for outside vehicles. So, I have to put it aside for a temporary time, waiting for my friend to take me there on a motorcycle in two days.
Two days ago, a friend kept recommending that I visit Lingshan Village near Chengan Village. This village doesn't charge any fees and is very beautiful. I've heard the name before, but I couldn't quite remember where it was. Later, I found out that it was mentioned to me by a local fan when I was researching Zhiji Ancient Town, who said it was his hometown.
The drive from Shi county to Lingshan Village isn't far, about 20 kilometers. Along the way, we passed through Shuyuan Village. In March, Shuyuan Village is very beautiful, the entire village is surrounded by rapeseed flowers. At the entrance of the village, you'll see a group of stone archways.
There are three stone archways, respectively, the Three-Span Four-Column Chongtian Style Qing Dynasty Jietiao Fang, Zhenshou Zhi Men Fang, and Two-Column Single Span Ming Dynasty Zanxian Fang. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we only made a brief stop in Shuyuan Village and continued on to Lingshan.
On the way from Shuyuan Village to Lingshan Village, there's a section of terraces approximately 1,000 acres in size. At this time, the terraces are covered in rapeseed flowers, which is truly breathtaking. At this point, I was already captivated by Lingshan Village. There are many terraced fields with rapeseed flowers in Shi county, some even more magnificent than those in Lingshan Village, but the terraced fields in Lingshan Village are the best for road conditions.
After visiting the rapeseed flower terraces, we continued driving uphill and arrived at Lingshan Village. Lingshan Village is not large, but has a history of over a thousand years. The entire village is located between Lingjin Mountain and Fengshan Mountain, crossed by the Ling River. As soon as you enter the village, you'll see an old bridge, which looks very beautiful against the backdrop of the river and rapeseed flowers.
Walking into the village, you'll see Lingshan Village's. '' refers to the entrance and exit of water in ancient village architecture, and is the protective god and lifeline of the village. In order to ward off local wealth, Lingshan Village's villagers established Lingyang Bridge, Tiangen Pavilion, Wufeng Temple, and a Juhuan Pavilion on the opposite side of the. These buildings have a certain historical background, and I won't go into detail here. Interested friends can research them independently.
Starting from Lingyang Bridge, we can see a street approximately 3 miles long, paved with blue bricks. Continuing along the blue brick street, in the middle of the residences and blue brick street, there's an ancient stone bridge connecting, said to have 36 bridges.
In the misty season, wandering around such villages is a very enjoyable experience. Coming to a house, watching the villagers doing their work, and in front of the house is a large field of rapeseed flowers, with the sounds of chickens and dogs, a picture of ( - a poetic description of a rural landscape).
