Recently, a third-party independent social think tank, Beijing Hua Xia Baiqiang Tourism Consulting Center, held a press conference in Beijing to release the ‘2019 National County Tourism Research Report’ and the ‘2019 National Tourism Development Potential Top 10’ and ‘Top 20’ lists. Starting in 2017, our city has been honored for three consecutive years. This year, Liuyang City ranked second in the ‘2019 National County Tourism Comprehensive Strength Top 100’.
The 2019 national county tourism research object was 1886 counties (including county-level cities, autonomous prefectures, banners, autonomous banners, special areas, forest districts) in mainland China. The comprehensive strength of county tourism was researched based on 35 indicators constructed from six aspects: tourism economic development level, government promotion role, tourism industry comprehensive driving function, tourism development and environmental protection, tourism facilities and service function, and tourism quality supervision and market regulation. Those ranking in the top 100 were identified as the ‘2019 National County Tourism Comprehensive Strength Top 100’.
