Nan Ya was formerly known as Jian Village, and was known as a windbreak harbor of Taihu in the old days. It is the port and post station for entering and leaving Taihu in Wujiang old days. It has a history of over a thousand years. As one of the natural villages of Jiangnan water towns, Nan Ya preserves the natural texture of Jiangnan water towns while also bearing the imprint of the transformation from fishing port and port to agriculture and trade from Ming and Qing dynasties to the decline of commerce.
In recent years, the East Taihu Resort District (Taihu New City) has launched the 'Nan Ya e Village' project here, with the theme of 'Rural village and cottage, simple village in dreams'. Nan Ya's 'White·' is the first project to enter the 'Nan Ya e Village' planning.
'White' dialect means 'fun and interesting places', which is the English translation of 'By sunny', symbolizing that this place is also a place full of sunshine and warmth. Its positioning is to provide entertainment and living solutions for multiple trips (families, friends gatherings, team building, ). The current situation is that people are willing to spend more energy and time on relationships with family, friends and colleagues. Traditional hotel rooms, lobbies and breakfasts are fragmented, while connecting between multiple people needs a continuous space without barriers. The contradiction between the two has led to the creation of 'White·'.
