Wandering in Gengyu Valley, a Qinling Valley Mouth

Gengyu, one of the seventy-two valleys of Qinling Mountain, is located in Jiufeng Township, Juizhi County, Xi'an. It is about 60 kilometers from Xi'an city center, with beautiful and captivating scenery, vast and majestic surroundings. Following the Gengyu River northward, the clear water flows endlessly, mountains stretch without end, and the scenery is like a painting. It belongs to undeveloped primitive mountain roads. In winter, snow reflects on the mountain peaks, fallen leaves become a blanket, and bare trees listen to the wind, offering a great place to admire the snow and listen to the wind. In summer, the cool stream flows vigorously, clear and visible, with a significant drop in elevation, the river gurgles and splashes, creating a variety of crashing waves, a fantastic place for swimming and escaping the heat.

When starting from Xi'an, the weather was still sunny. As they entered the valley halfway, light rain began to fall. The forest and trees were washed clean, becoming even more vibrant green, a rare and beautiful color. The group didn't bother with the light rain and continued to the deepest part of the valley. At this point, the road disappeared, they parked, and found a relatively safe place to hike. Wildflowers lined both sides of the road, glistening with droplets of water, and they walked through the flowers, getting their clothes wet. Was this the legendary wet-body experience, haha! The flowers were vibrant, the green leaves were lush green, and the stream was happily flowing, so they quickly took several pictures.
