Wuchang's 9 Parks and Squares Open in a Planned Manner, Allowing Visits for 8 Hours Daily

Chuetian Daily News (reporter Lu Chenghan, correspondents Yin Lilihong, Peng Xueqin, Lin Wei) On March 28th, reporters from Wuhan City Wuchang Management learned that the nine parks and squares in the Wuchang area, including Hongshan Square, have strictly adhered to the time-based opening schedule.
It was reported that the Hongshan Square, Shiyi Square, Ziyang Park, Simi Tang Park, Wuchang Park, Hongshan Park, Chuwan Park, Neshahu Park, and Changchun Guan Park, located in Wuchang District, are open to the public daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Indoor venue and operating areas within the park are currently closed, and group activities are not permitted.
Starting from March 23rd, these park management agencies have started a perimeter cleaning and sanitation sweep, conducting comprehensive clearance and disinfection to ensure zero dead corners, presenting a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for citizens.
The disinfection staff at Shiyi Square said that after the resumption of opening, the focus is on cleaning and disinfecting various service facilities, particularly fitness equipment, benches, railings, and handrails, with disinfection occurring no less than 2 times daily. Public toilets are subject to enhanced disinfection measures. Simultaneously, ventilation and air circulation are maintained.

Before disinfection, park management units select appropriate disinfectants based on the on-site conditions to disinfect public areas and indoor air.
According to the Wuhan District Management Bureau's Park Affairs Department, the two-stage connection of the epidemic period and the post-restart period is implemented in a coordinated manner. It is important to prioritize work during the limited opening phase, conducting safety hazard surveys, organizing employee safety training, and preventing crowds. Evacuation plans should also be established.

At the same time, it is necessary to do everything possible to carry out spring garden plant soil loosening, watering, shaping, pruning, weeding, pest and disease prevention, and other basic maintenance management, and to delay the adjustment and supplementary planting of seedlings and flowers and seeds until the supply of replenishment materials is restored.
It is reported that Wuhan District's parks have set up warm reminder boards to announce park opening times, and remind citizens and tourists to wear masks when entering, and to cooperate with temperature monitoring, health code presentation, and visitor information registration, while prohibiting group fitness, entertainment, and communication activities.
Park square staff members measure their body temperature and record it before each shift. When receiving visitors and conducting cleaning and disinfection, they must wear masks to protect themselves and visitors.
