How many days have we lost? How many more days do we have ahead? What about the days of now?

The grass withers, but it will revive; the flowers fade, but they will bloom again; the birds depart, but they will return; yet, life passes away, why cannot it be retrieved? Quietly calculate, how many days have we lost? And how many more days do we have ahead? Those who have gone, will eventually return; those who come, will inevitably arrive. What are we doing in this cycle of going and returning? When we wake in the morning, the slanted sunlight streams into the room, and we are gradually shifted without realizing it. We drift along with this movement. When we wash our faces, days slip away in the water; when we eat, they drift past the edge of the meal; when we are still, they flow from our eyes. When we realize it, we try to reclaim it, but the days slip away from our hands. At night, we lie in bed, days pass over our bodies. When we open our eyes, a day has gone. In a sigh, new days have already slipped away. The past days, like smoke, have dissipated; what have we left behind? The present days, like water, are flowing away; what are we doing? The future days will also arrive as scheduled; what do we want to do? People come to this world naked, and they leave it naked; if we cannot leave anything behind, we will only have wasted our lives. Are we content? In these days that fly away, we wander, ashamed of the past, and look forward to the future, but we never remember the present days. Wake up, the present is the future of the past, and it is also the past of the future. Rather than letting the present days slip away blindly, let the present become a glorious past for future days. Cherish every day, and you are cherishing the past and the future. Grasp every present day, and you will leave a regretless past for the future. Strive, from every day, start now, don't waste your youth, don't waste yourself.
