The Scenery of Life: It’s About People and Things

Happiness is a mindset. A group of people with one apple, they start to calculate; two people, one apple, there is no quarrel or conflict, just tolerance and harmony; one person with two apples, the desire to eat disappears; one person with a pile of apples, you start to worry. Happiness is not about how much you have, but about how little you count. As long as you embrace a 'happy with gains, indifferent to losses' mindset, life will be full of happiness.

Your own scenery has never been missed; scenery that doesn't belong to you is just a passing sight. The sky is vast and the earth is immense, and not every beautiful scenery can be possessed. In a lifetime, all you need is one beautiful sight to linger over, one that you will never abandon. Every heart has a unique fondness and one particular scenery is forever linked to it. Life's scenery is about people and things.

Some things aren't pursued because of the hope they offer; they're pursued simply because you persevere. I wake up every morning and tell myself, 'The world is good and strong.' You must believe you are a brave person, because you are still alive, and you must continue to move forward.
The world doesn't care about your ego; it only cares about your achievements. Before you achieve something, don't overemphasize your ego. After experiencing the world, you'll realize that a fragile ego is a sign of weakness and a lack of resilience. Ego is a seed; it will wither in your hands. It needs to be planted in the soil, nurtured by hardship, and grow into maturity. Don't care too much about your ego before success.
