Window Scenery
In the morning, accompanied by the chirping of birds, I woke up. I opened my drowsy eyes and looked out the window, and what greeted me was that shade of tender green, so beautiful and captivating, so refreshing to the heart.
It was a large vine of climbing ivy, completely covering one wall. It seemed to have unstoppable momentum to envelop the entire building, which had to be admired for its tenacious life force.
The sun rose, bathing the climbing ivy in sunlight. It was beautiful, comfortable, and languid. The slender branches swayed gently in the wind, attracting birds to rest on the thicker branches, and also attracting bees and butterflies to play among the leaves. The climbing ivy continued to sway slowly, sharing the joys and whims of birds and butterflies.
In the sunlight, the climbing ivy shone with a dazzling light. In a trance, the vast expanse of green seemed like a waterfall cascading from the sky, and the countless shining leaves were like droplets of water cascading down. Focusing closely, the waterfall disappeared. In front of me was a large group of fluttering, verdant butterflies, with each leaf being a graceful, ethereal butterfly spirit.
In the sunlight, the climbing ivy was unrestrained and unrestrained but also contained and beautiful. But in the rain, the climbing ivy was a completely different sight. At first, the light rain sprinkled on the leaves, causing the leaves to tremble slightly, responding to the rhythm of the raindrops, emitting a small 'shhh' sound, like the prelude to a symphony, gentle and pleasing. Subsequently, the rain intensified, with peas-sized raindrops crashing onto the leaves, and the climbing ivy seemed to explode like a boiling pot, accompanied by a 'tap-tap-tap' sound, and this symphony reached its climax, so intense and so shocking!
Every morning, when I wake up, the climbing ivy outside my window is the first thing that enters my eyes. This graceful climbing ivy has covered my window, has covered my childhood dreams.
