Child, Why Do You Read?
From childhood to old age, endless exams, endless homework, when young we always complained about not enough playtime, but later in life we regret wasting time on playing.

Those years in the classroom, with hand-written notes hanging on the walls, everyone told you, 'Child, study hard, and you'll turn your life around.' No one told you that luck also plays a part.

Similarly, you couldn't truly understand the meaning behind everyone's earnest advice back then.
Perhaps their methods weren't scientific, and their efforts weren't perfect. But they always hoped you would have a good future.
Simple and straightforward thoughts – a good life is a good life.
Our teachers looked at the one by one tender faces in the camera lens,

They were a little helpless, a little tired, and a little lost.
We intended to talk to our children about how to read and write,

But in this process, we saw our child's messy handwriting, disorganized article structure, and not-so-good reading habits. More importantly, where has our child's curiosity gone? Why are they so apathetic?
Seeing this, we were anxious. How could this handwriting impress the examiners?

The education we've long criticized for its focus on exams – is there truly no other meaning to education?
Remember the countless hours you spent struggling at your desk, making a boat out of knowledge and effort,
The textbooks selected all the finest works of human literature, 'The Chinese History' – five thousand years of rich and diverse figures, exploring concepts of filial piety, loyalty, righteousness, and reason. Yet, after savoring the poetry and literature, the beauty lingers only in the ears, without lasting impact,
You're told not to memorize words, but to study a language's cultural roots, which is far more valuable. This was the first window opened for you in a small city,

History is a mirror reflecting the changes and developments of the world,
Geography is seeing rivers, lakes, seas, mountains, and the vast, shifting landscapes – far beyond what the eye can see.
As a humanities student, I always hated mathematics, but now I finally understand that mathematics is not just about getting the right answers and earning points; it's about the logical thinking and rational analysis it provides, which will influence your life in the future,
Focus on bedtime reading for your child,
Perhaps you can't feel this influence.

The real meaning lies in the things you'll understand and appreciate in the next decades.
The snow-covered swan garden is truly beautiful,
Don't listen to the sound of leaves rustling through the forest; instead, let us enjoy a leisurely stroll,

With a bamboo cane and straw sandals, who needs a horse?
Let us embrace the rain and live life to the fullest.
