I used to think that beauty lies ahead, and happiness lies in the future. Gradually, I realized that beauty is actually in the present, and happiness is beside us. The past, the times gone by, are all beautiful and happy; the roads we've traveled, the words we've spoken, and the things we've done are all sweet and warm. All the beautiful and happy things in life are in our eyes and hearts – understood or not, they will become everlasting beauty and happiness with the passage of time.
