Spring Leeks are the Best, Especially When Stir-Fried with Scallops – A Flavorful Delight
Most people like to eat scallops steamed or baked with garlic and vermicelli, which is really delicious. Spring is the best season to eat leeks, why don't we make a dish with leeks and scallops? Today we'd like to share a leek and scallop dish with you – it's not only flavorful but also full of fresh flavor.
Ingredients:
Leeks, scallops.
Instructions:
Remove the roots of the leeks, and remove any yellow or rotten leaves that cannot be eaten. Wash them and cut them into small segments and place them in a plate.
I bought pre-cooked scallops, and removed the meat after removing the stomach, gills and black lines. Wash the scallops thoroughly.
Pour oil into the pan and heat it up. Add the leek segments and stir-fry until the leek segments turn a vibrant green and become soft.
Add the cleaned scallops and stir-fry until combined. Season with salt and chicken broth, and stir-fry until combined.
Add more salt to adjust the seasoning and stir-fry for a few seconds before serving. A simple and quick leek and scallop dish is ready! It's very flavorful, and the crisp texture of the leeks makes it perfect for a hearty meal!
Tips:
Scallops are only difficult to eat the shell, other parts are all edible, you don't have to remove the stomach and gills.
