5 Minutes, 10 Donuts! Poland Hosts 'Donut Devourer Competition'
On February 17th, the 16th 'Donut Devourer Competition' was held in Poznań, Poland – eating the most doughnuts as quickly as possible without drinking water is the key to victory!

The contestants weren't eating ordinary doughnuts, but Polish traditional food 'paczki', also known as 'Polish doughnuts' (Polish donuts). It was filled with rose jam in the middle of the regular fried dough circles, making it quite a challenge to eat so many at once. This competition was also to celebrate 'Fat Thrusday' on February 20th, a traditional Polish festival where Poles eat paczki. There's a Polish proverb: 'If you don't eat paczki on Thursday, you won't have a happy life.'

Ultimately, the competition's champion was Andrzej Galasinski, who finished all 10 doughnuts in 5 minutes 3 seconds. However, he didn't break the 2011 event record: 4 minutes 12 seconds.

To ensure fairness, the weight of each doughnut was controlled at 80 grams, and the calorie count was approximately 200 calories – eating 10 doughnuts like that would definitely ruin any weight loss plans… However, there were still quite a few people participating, after all, it's a rare opportunity to eat free doughnuts.
