Braised Beef

Ingredients: 1000g beef chuck, 1 piece of ginger, 3 spoons of soy sauce, 2 spoons of light soy sauce, 3 spoons of dark soy sauce, a few pieces of sugar, star anise, cinnamon stick, cloves.

1. Wash the beef chuck with water and soak it in water for about 1 hour, changing the water multiple times in the middle to drain the blood from the beef.

2. Cut the beef into large chunks, put a pot into place, pour a suitable amount of water into the pot, add a suitable amount of soy sauce, put the beef into cold water, boil it over high heat, then reduce the heat and cook for 20 minutes, then take it out and drain it.

3. Put the cooked beef into the boiling pot, add a suitable amount of water, and gradually add soy sauce, ginger slices, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, cinnamon stick, star anise, cloves, and sugar, boil it over high heat.

4. After boiling over high heat, reduce the heat and cook for about 40 minutes, until the beef can be pierced with a fork, then soak it in the braising sauce for a whole night, cut the beef into slices to eat.
