Peppered Squid (Simple Home-Style Recipe)

Stuck at home and bored, I wanted to indulge in some fried treats, not knowing what to make. Suddenly, an idea struck me – there was a bag of squid in the refrigerator! So I thought about making (jiāo yán qiú yú –). There are many ways to make, so let's do a simple one. Homemade, a simple home-cooked version, just to satisfy my cravings.

Ingredients

Squid - 1 pound

Flour - As needed

Starch - As needed

Salt - As needed

1. Squid cleaning and washing, cut into flower shapes (or rings), blanch the cut squid in boiling water for about 2 minutes (this removes the fishy smell and helps the squid hold its shape), rinse with cold water, and drain the water.

2. Drain the squid and marinate it with a little salt, pepper, and one egg, mixing well and marinating for half an hour.
