Today, I'm going to make a cake with it, without an oven and without beating, just using a steamer, and it's easy to make. This cake is not only nutritious, but also has a delicious red date flavor. Pumpkin Steamed Cake Flour 300g, Dates 3, Pumpkin 300g, Yeast 3g, Sugar 20g, Water as needed

Instructions
1 Peel and cut the pumpkin, then put it in a steamer and steam until cooked. When the skin drops easily with a light touch, you don't need to peel it beforehand.

2 I think the pumpkin is already sweet, so I didn't add sugar. If you like sweet things, you can add some sugar. Mash the pumpkin into a puree and let it cool before using. You can use a fork, spoon, or food processor to make the puree. Make it as smooth as possible.
3 Wash the dates, cut the date pits into thin strips, and cut the date flesh into pieces. I bought dates that are the same size as eggs, so I cut them open.

5 Add the pumpkin puree to the flour and yeast and mix into a dough. As the pumpkin has a high water content, add a little water to the dough, and it will be sticky. Don't worry, steamed cakes need a high water content to be delicious. Then add the red date pieces and mix evenly.

6 Take a 6-inch non-stick mold (if you don't have one, you can use a pot, a large bowl, or a glass food container, but grease the surface with a little oil to prevent sticking). Put the dough into the mold, cover it with a plastic wrap, and let it proof until it doubles in size.

7 Once the dough has proofed, evenly distribute the cut red dates on top. Let your imagination run wild with the shape.

8 Put it in a steamer, after the steam comes up, steam for 25 minutes, take it out and invert it to cut into pieces for eating.

1 Dates have sweetness, if you don't like sweet things, you can reduce the sugar.
2 Adjust the amount of water according to the water content of the pumpkin, if the dough is too small, add less water, if it's too big, add more water.
3 Don't over-proof the steamed cake, or it will collapse. Don't make the batter too thin.
