Half a Catty of Sticky Rice, 1 Egg – A Recipe You'll Never Get Tired Of, Cooking Everything in One Pot

Growing up, our family was poor, we didn't have toys or snacks, my toys back then were made of mud, they were pretty ugly but durable and didn't cost any money. When I wanted a snack, my grandma would make them for me, she made me many snack dishes, the most she made was sticky rice, because she grew rice herself, she would just steam the rice and sprinkle it with white sugar, it was fragrant and delicious. Poor children's happiness is easy to obtain, having something to play with and something to eat is already happy. Saying so much, today I would like to share sticky rice with everyone.

Ingredients

Sticky rice, eggs, lean pork, potato, carrot, dried sausage, green pepper, flour, starch, salt, pepper, light soy sauce, wine, oyster sauce, green onion, ginger

1First, put 250g of sticky rice in a basin, pour in cold water and soak for 1 night. After the sticky rice is soaked, it will break when you pinch it with your hand, then wash it clean and drain the water and put it in a steamer to steam for about 20 minutes, or you can cook it in an electric rice cooker, but don't add too much water, otherwise it will be very sticky when cooked.



2When the sticky rice is steaming, use the empty spaces to prepare some side dishes. Cut the lean pork into dicing, add wine, light soy sauce, and marinate for 10 minutes. Cut the carrot, potato, bean curd, and green pepper into dicing, and put them together for later use.

3Heat the pot, first sauté green onion and ginger, then pour in the diced pork and stir-fry until changed color, then pour in the side dishes and stir-fry evenly, add salt, white pepper, light soy sauce, and oyster sauce to season, finally pour in a small half bowl of water, close the lid and stew for 5 minutes before taking it out and plating.



4Put 2 spoonfuls of flour and 2 spoonfuls of starch in a bowl, pour in water and stir until it becomes like bean curd juice, in the pot brush with oil, pour the bean curd juice evenly, turn on small fire and fry until it sets, then pour in 1 egg liquid, continue to spread and fry until it sets, after setting, flip it over and fry.



5After frying the egg skin, cover it with the cooked sticky rice and press firmly, then pour in the side dishes and press firmly again, fry over low heat for 2 minutes.


6When taking it out, invert the plate to serve. When eating, divide it into small pieces, it's very fragrant, the whole meal comes out together, simple and delicious.
