In Yunnan’s Uncontrolled Territory, a Hidden Paradise Remains Untouched by the World, Beautiful Beyond Words

In the south of Ya Yun Na, there is a place called Shangri La, said to be a place of reincarnation for gods. Majestic snow mountains and lush grasslands, early departures and late returns of cattle and sheep, the human world and paradise are all in the same horizon. People often praise this place as the Garden of Eden, quaint and quiet, vast and vigorous, a place to forget worldly affairs. This is the 'Lost Peak Manor' that people have searched for for more than half a century – a place where dreams come true. It is the magical Shangri La, the wondrous Khasar, and a beautiful landscape like poetry and paintings, leaving people longing for it.

In the middle of the beautiful Tibetan autonomous prefecture of Deqin, there is a place called '' (Jíxiàng rúyì), which means 'good luck and fortune' in Tibetan. It is located in the northwest of Yunnan, bordering Sichuan and Tibet. This area, formerly known as 'uncontrolled territory', is now famous throughout the world because of the wondrous scenery of Shangri La, attracting hordes of tourists to visit.
The magical Shangri La has snow mountains, grasslands, Tibetan villages, Tibetan temples and other attractions, which are dazzling to the eyes. Among them, the secret realm like a fairyland is the area of the Zhongjiang River confluence, the center of the World Natural Heritage, namely Pudazhe National Park. It was once the holy land where Zhang Jie and Xu Na got married. Green lakes, green plants, animals and birds, a splendid and picturesque primitive wilderness, without excessive human damage, mountains and rivers, lakes and pastures, all retain their original flavor.

22 kilometers away from Shangri La's urban area, Pudazhe National Forest Park is a highland wilderness with an altitude of 3500-4159 meters. The scenic area is composed of Beitahai, Sudu Lake and Mili Pond Ayagou Highland Ranch. It takes about 3 hours to travel around the entire area.

Pudazhe National Park is the 'belly button' of Shangri La. Photographers say its beauty cannot be captured by a camera. In the morning mist, the world's paradise appears mysterious. The turquoise lake Sudu Lake, with its crystal-clear waters, lush grasslands and herds of cattle and sheep, and its blooming flowers, creates a naturally beautiful watercolor painting. This ecological paradise also lives in a variety of rare animals and beasts, which is a veritable ecological animal encyclopedia. Black-necked cranes, painted babblers, macaque monkeys, leopards, crowned deer, Tibetan horses and Tibetan rats are rare species that can be seen again.
In the depths of the green forest, there is also a beautiful Tibetan-style village with Tibetan culture. The ancient and mysterious ethnic group uses wood carving, thangka and yak horn bone carving techniques to show their intelligence. The revolving prayer wheels on the lakebanks are endlessly spinning, carrying the faith and hopes of the Tibetan people. Entering the colorful folk style painting, it is like a dream, beautiful and moving.

With cattle and sheep scattered among the mountains, like stars in the sky. The pines are scattered and weathered, days and days, playful squirrels, travelers cherish them. Wild fruits soaked in dew, like colorful beads. This paradise hidden in the 'Garden of Eden' Shangri La's mountain and lake scenery, makes people feel relaxed and happy, and a visit will know what 'fairyland' is.
