A Thousand Acres of Rhododendrons Awaiting Bloom, Bamboo Forest Trails More Tranquil
The weather was slightly better, and after class, we immediately set out to see the 'Thousand Acre Rhododendrons' at Jingshan's Sixi Creek. However, upon arriving, we were told that the peak bloom wouldn't occur for another half month. We then headed to Baizhang Town's Dukonguan Ancient Post Road, with bamboo forests and small paths, which was quite pleasant. But it was still cold, so we made a short stop and then started a 'car tour' through the bamboo sea. Ahead of Dukonguan, there's a small reservoir, possibly called Fenghua Reservoir, a very quiet and serene place, with fragrant flowers and quiet waters, worth lingering in. When it was time to eat, we drove further, and we were suddenly in Anji County Town. We found a restaurant operating on 235 Provincial Road, and when we parked, we discovered that it was 'Han Jia Cifu' – the same restaurant where we had our first meal in Anji three years ago. It was next to the 'China Bamboo Museum.' The boss said that a team of four hundred people led by Li Lanjuan had just returned from Wuhan and was staying here to isolate for 14 days. The museum is very quiet, and there aren't many tourists now, so it's a perfect place for the heroes to rest.
On the way back, we didn't take the highway to see the scenery along the way. We passed through Qingpo Village in Huanghu Town and gave a thumbs-up to their village committee building – it's really grand and won't lose to some local government buildings. We arrived in Anji and Deqing, and returned to Huzhou, feeling that these new rural areas are not just rich; we could see from their villas and mansions that the wealth after a higher quality of life pursuit.
Not far from Qingpo Village is 'Romantic Cherry Blossom Valley,' with vast fields of cherry blossoms in bloom, but the weather was a little cold and there was construction, so we didn't go in to play. We passed through Lianghu, visiting 'Lianghu Cultural Relic Park' for the same reason, leaving it for next time.
