‘Old Hometown Henan’ Beautiful Spring Tour Season (Jiaozuo Station) Launching Ceremony and ‘Splendid China • Yuntai Mountain Hanfu Flower Viewing Festival’ Opening
On April 11th, the ‘Old Hometown Henan’ Beautiful Spring Tour Season (Jiaozuo Station) Launching Ceremony and the ‘Splendid China • Yuntai Mountain Hanfu Flower Viewing Festival’ opened at Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area. Henan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism Director Jiang Jiding, Jiaozhou City, Kaifeng City,anyang City, Jiyuan City, Yong City cultural and broadcasting tourism bureau relevant personnel, provincial major scenic area main responsible person, and all levels of media and creator influencers attended the launch ceremony, and jointly held a grand event with national Hanfu enthusiasts.
Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism Director Jiang Jiding, Jiaozhou City People's Government Vice Mayor Ni Yanping, and Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area Management Bureau Director Ma Chunming jointly launched the event.
This year’s Yuntai Mountain Hanfu Flower Viewing Festival has meticulously planned a series of activities including themed Hanfu parades, Hanfu markets, Hanfu exhibitions, Hanfu shows, Hanfu dances and music performances. As the dwelling place of the ‘Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove’, the Yuntai Mountain Hanfu Flower Viewing Festival set up themed performances for the ‘Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove’, including the ‘Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove’ stage show and water shows. Famous Hanfu enthusiasts such as Gonghan, Jiuyang, Chang’an, Shanhe, Youxiaqi, Muhan, and Qingyu transformed into the ‘Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove’ and recreated the style of the famous figures of the Wei-Jin period, allowing visitors to deeply experience the spiritual essence of Yuntai Mountain’s mountain and water culture.
’Why wear clothes? Let’s be brothers in arms,’ ‘Splendid mountains and rivers, together appreciate Yuntai.’ The misty Yuntai Mountain’s landscape and Hanfu enthusiasts dressed in different dynasties’ costumes formed a beautiful painting. With graceful postures, they danced, gently waved fans, or played the qin and flute, seeming to slowly emerge from the painting across millennia. During the event, platforms such as Douyin, Xinhua News Client, and CCTV News+ live-streamed the event, with tens of thousands of people watching the ‘cloud’ appreciation of the Hanfu feast simultaneously.
This year’s Yuntai Mountain Hanfu Flower Viewing Festival also launched multiple preferential policies. In addition to offering half-price tickets to national visitors, from April 7th to 27th, the scenic area also launched a ‘Wear Hanfu, Free Entrance’ discount, attracting a large number of traditional culture enthusiasts. Furthermore, the Yuntai Mountain Hanfu Flower Viewing Festival’s Douyin challenge was officially launched and will continue until May 12th. All visitors who shoot related videos and post them on Douyin, adding the hashtag ‘#Yuntai Mountain Hanfu Flower Viewing Festival’ and tagging ‘Jiaozhou Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area’ will have the opportunity to win prizes such as mobile phones, cash, and annual passes.
