The Mengyuan cold mountains belong to a typical cold and mountainous area. 74.71% of forest coverage makes this minority ethnic town picturesque and beautiful, especially suitable for the development of ecological economic forest fruit. Most households in the village have Huang pear trees, with a minimum of a few acres and a maximum of dozens of acres, and these fruit trees are decades old, producing full, yellowish fruits and crisp taste.

'We almost don't take care of them, we go out to work during the day and come back to pick the fruit when it's ripe.', Lu Gui said softly, standing under his own Huang pear tree, 'Our whole village has 1800 acres of Huang pear land and over ten thousand Huang pear trees, with an annual output of more than 150 tons.'

Currently, about 4000 acres of Huang pear are planted in the Mengyuan cold mountains.
