Lanshan Multi-Island Sea Leisure Fishing Center Opens!
Located in the southwestern tamarisk park of Dashiha Scenic Area, there is a deep red building, which is the Dashiha Leisure Fishing Center. Pavilions, towers, and pavilions coexist with the lush tamarisk, reeds, and alkali clover, and four waters surround it, with clean air and beautiful scenery. Here, the lake and sea connect, with fresh fish and crabs, and fish leaping joyfully. The natural ecological system is in a good cycle, creating a paradise for anglers.
The fishing center faces the sea to the south, is adjacent to the District Culture Service Center to the north, is connected to the Lanshan General Aviation Airport to the west, and is connected to the Dashiha Scenic Area to the east, effectively integrating and connecting its advantageous tourism resources. Last November, the 4th China (Yantai) Children’s Fishing Festival and Seawater Lake Fishing Competition were held grandly here. The tourism brand ‘One Fishing Rod to Fish the World’ spread across the country.
Once, this land was barren, but now it belongs to the Shanxi River Estuary Wetland Ecological Restoration Project. Lanshan District utilized engineering means to transform the old fishpond saline-alkali land, clean up marine engineering waste and construction waste, restored 4050 meters of inland coastal line, and planted more than 4.62 million tamarisk plants resistant to salinity, restored 5000 acres of wetland, and sorted out the water area of 200 acres.
Currently, the project’s core product fishing base has been completed, and the fishing service center has been put into use. It also built supporting service reception facilities, a wetland camping park, a go-kart track, an observation pavilion, and so on. It was learned that Lanshan District will further improve infrastructure and provide high-level supporting tourism services. The tourism resources will be reasonably developed and scientifically utilized, building more participation-type tourism projects with fishing as the main theme, enrich tourism activities, and gradually build it into a comprehensive ecological tourism and leisure center integrating fishing and leisure, catering, entertainment, health care, agricultural tourism, and ecological protection.
